How do you pick cherries?

When picking cherries take them gently off the tree by the stem. You will know that the cherry is ripe if the fruit comes off easily with the stem remaining intact. Place the cherry in a container gently in order to avoid damaging the flesh of the fruit. Repeat this process until you have the amount you need.
