Walking Together for a Brighter Tomorrow – Darkness Into Light 2025
As the sun rose over Rivervalley Park in Swords, Co. Dublin on Saturday 10th May, the Dole Ireland team proudly joined thousands of people across the country for Darkness Into Light 2025 – a truly moving event organised by Pieta to raise awareness and much-needed funds for suicide prevention and mental health services in Ireland.
Alongside taking part in the 5km walk, we were thrilled to help fuel everyone’s early morning efforts with a refreshing boost – handing out our tasty DOLE BE Exotic!® smoothies and fruit pots from our DOLE GO Organic!® range. Everything was prepped and served by some of our lovely Marketing and Sustainability team.
Our Marketing Manager, Nicola Banville, shared her thoughts on the day:

Events like this are close to our hearts at Dole Ireland. Being part of local communities and supporting wellbeing is something we care deeply about – and this is just one of the ways we try to give back throughout the year.
